Ride A Pet Egg Route Planner
Design a short, repeatable egg loop with radar timing, skip rules, and contested-egg decisions.
This Egg route planner is a written tool for building a Ride A Pet loop you can repeat under pressure. The goal is not a sightseeing tour of every spawn. The goal is a short, memorable circuit that starts near your plot, uses radars on purpose, encodes skip rules, and makes contested-egg decisions boring instead of emotional.
Use it with Find eggs for radar fundamentals, Best eggs for quality-versus-EPM calls, and Nests, gear, and food so returns always have a free pad. Parent hub: Tools.
Planner output (what you should leave with)
By the end of this page you should be able to write four lines:
- Start point — where you activate radar relative to nests
- Primary loop — two to five stops you can run half-asleep
- Skip rules — which eggs you refuse on this mount
- Contest rules — when you peel versus commit in six-player lobbies
If you cannot state those four lines, you do not have a route yet — you have vibes.
Step 1: Start near the plot
Almost every good route begins at home.
- Stand where nest pads are visible or a short sprint away
- Confirm at least one nest is free before you leave
- Activate radar here so the first information sweep favors short returns
- Treat the plot as the hub of a wheel, not a distant warehouse
Starter mounts (snail / chicken / monkey / horse class) should barely leave this wheel. Mid mounts can add one hotspot spoke. S-tier mounts (Kitsune / Dragon / Cerberus class) can afford longer spokes only if nests stay clear and timers still have margin.
Step 2: Radar usage on a schedule
Radars and rudders (Advanced → Magic → Royal progression) are part of the route, not panic buttons.
Planner prompts:
- Which radar tier am I on today?
- Do I reactivate after every banked egg, or after every full loop?
- What is my “re-center” rule when I drift to the map edge?
Recommended default: radar at plot → run loop → bank → radar again. Spamming without a return plan creates dead carries. Upgrade search power before cosmetic spends — Cash farming and Find eggs explain why.
Step 3: Build the primary loop
Keep it short enough to memorize:
- Pick Stop A — nearest reliable egg area from the plot
- Pick Stop B — second nearest that does not reverse your path awkwardly
- Optional Stop C — only if your mount finishes A→B→C→home with timer margin
- Write the path as arrows, not paragraphs: Plot → A → B → (C) → Plot
Test the loop for ten minutes. Count successful nest placements. If the number is worse than a tighter Plot→A→Plot shuttle, delete Stop C. Ego routes are still bad routes.
After updates, rebuild from scratch — egg pools move.
Step 4: Skip rules (write them down)
Example skip rules you can copy and edit:
- Skip commons if I already ride mid-tier or higher and a mid/rare is marked
- Skip any egg if nests are full
- Skip any chase longer than X seconds on my current mount (pick an honest X)
- Skip contested commons when a solo mid is open
- Skip “tourist” eggs during rebirth recovery (Rebirth checklist)
Quality-versus-EPM coaching: Best eggs.
Step 5: Contested-egg decision tree
When another rider angles toward your mark:
- Compare mounts — if they are clearly faster, peel to secondary
- Compare distance — closer slow pet can still beat farther fast pet; be honest
- Check carry state — already holding an upgrade egg? Bank first
- Check nest state — no free pad means the contest is worthless
- Feint or commit — feint only if you already have a second mark from radar
Etiquette and lobby habits: Players Hub. Revenge scripts are not a route plan (Scripts).
Step 6: Mount tiers change the planner
| Mount band | Loop shape | Contest appetite |
|---|---|---|
| Early (snail→axolotl class) | Tiny wheel near plot | Almost never |
| Mid (deer→lion / cheetah class) | One hotspot spoke | Selective |
| High (fox→unicorn→T-Rex→Phoenix) | Two spokes max | Medium |
| S-tier (Cerberus/Dragon/Kitsune) | Longer snipes allowed | High, still with skip rules |
Community progression ladders are guides, not laws — equip whatever is fastest in your inventory (Best pets).
Step 7: Food, cash, and route uptime
A perfect path still fails if food drops mid-loop. Glance at upkeep whenever you bank. Food shop restocks are commonly treated as landing about every three minutes — keep cash liquid for windows that matter. Route planning without economy planning is how players “mysteriously” slow down.
Step 8: Rebirth and route resets
After prestige, force the planner back to the tiny wheel until recovery milestones pass. Do not reuse your endgame sniper path on a soft mount. Pair with Rebirth fast and the rebirth checklist.
Example filled planner (template)
Copy this block into a note and replace the brackets:
- Start: [radar at plot facing zone ___]
- Loop: Plot → [A] → [B] → Plot
- Skip: [commons if mid+ marked], [any egg if nests full], [chases over ___ seconds]
- Contest: [peel if rival clearly faster], [commit only with nest free + timer margin]
- Radar: [reactivate after every bank]
- Mount today: [name / tier]
- Review after: [10 minutes / next update]

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Ride A Pet players.
What is the egg route planner?
A written method to design a short repeatable Ride A Pet egg loop with radar timing, skip rules, and contested-egg decisions — not a downloadable script.
Where should my route start?
Near your plot. Activate radar at home so the first sweep favors short returns and free nests.
How many stops should a loop have?
Usually two to five. If adding a stop lowers successful nest placements over ten minutes, delete it.
When do I skip an egg on my route?
When nests are full, a chase exceeds your mount’s honest timer margin, or a better solo mark exists while a contest looks lost.
Do I change the route after rebirth?
Yes. Force a tiny plot-centered wheel until recovery is stable, then reintroduce hotspot spokes.
